These terms govern your use of tuskshells.com and anything you reserve or buy through it. The site is operated by Tusk Shells LLC, a Colorado limited liability company, 2420 Elkhorn Ranch St, Parker, CO 80138 ("Tusk", "we", "us"). Using the site means you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.

1. What we sell

Tusk sells the Tusk insulin case: an insulated, passively cooled carrying case with a removable cold rail for insulin and GLP-1 pens. Pens and medication are not included.

We do not sell, supply, prescribe or advise on any medication. The case is not a medical device and has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration. Our Disclaimer forms part of these terms.

2. Reservations and preorders

The case is sold as a preorder from a first production run of 100, split between the two options (60 deposit places and 40 paid-in-full places), and is estimated to ship around January 1, 2027. You can reserve with a $20 refundable deposit (case price $89.99, with the $69.99 balance plus shipping invoiced by email before your case ships; nothing is charged automatically) or preorder paid in full for $79.99. Our Preorder terms set out shipping estimates, cancellation and what happens if the run does not go ahead, and they govern any reservation or preorder.

3. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping and any tax are shown at checkout before you pay. We may correct obvious pricing errors; if we do, we will offer you the choice of paying the correct price or cancelling for a full refund.

4. Accepting orders

An order is accepted when we send a confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if stock in the first run is exhausted or we suspect fraud, and if we do we refund in full.

6. Product information

We try to describe the case accurately. Renders and photos may differ slightly from production units. The 4+ hour cooling figure is a design target that has not yet been measured on production units; we will publish the measured result before the first run ships.

7. Partner program

If you join our partner program, our Partner program terms also apply.

8. Using the site

Please do not misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt to access it by automated means beyond ordinary search indexing, or copy its content without permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the site or a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of or damage to anything stored in the case. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited by law.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any consumer protection that the law of the state where you live gives you.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; the date at the top shows when they last changed. The version in force when you placed an order applies to that order.
