Tusk sells carrying cases

The Tusk insulin case is an insulated, passively cooled carrying case for medication pens. That is what we make and what we sell.

We do not sell, supply, prescribe or advise on insulin, GLP-1 medication or any other medication. We are not a pharmacy or a healthcare provider. Nothing on this site is an offer to supply anything other than a case.

It is not a medical device

The case is not a medical device. It is not registered with, cleared by or approved by the Food and Drug Administration or any equivalent body, and it is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any condition.

Cooling performance

The case is engineered to keep pens cool for 4+ hours. That figure is a design target and has not yet been measured on production units. We will publish the measured result, with the method used, before the first run ships. Real-world performance depends on outside temperature, sun exposure, how long the rail was frozen and how often the case is opened.

The case is designed to keep pens cool, not frozen. Do not let medication freeze, and do not place pens directly against a frozen rail unless our instructions say it is safe to do so.

Follow your medication's storage instructions

We make no claim that the case preserves the potency, stability or usability of any medication. The storage instructions from your medication's manufacturer, your pharmacist or your doctor always govern. This case does not override them, and using it is not evidence that they have been met. If you are unsure whether a pen is still usable, ask your pharmacist or doctor.

Pen fit

Pen compatibility has not yet been verified across every brand and model. Check the fit details on our site before you order; if your pen does not fit when your case arrives, our Refund policy applies.

Travel

Rules for carrying medication, gel packs and cooling items through airport security vary by country and airline and change over time. Check with your airline and the relevant security authority before you fly.
